It’s Time for the 17th Annual Reindeer Romp

Posted by Nolan Painting on December 2, 2014

December is an exciting month for Nolan Painting. It’s the time of year when we focus entirely on interior paint projects and prepare for the new year ahead. But before the hustle and bustle of the holiday season hits, we come together for one last exciting event.

The annual Reindeer Romp started 17 years ago and had quickly become one of the most exciting events in Havertown, Pa. This 5k run held in memory of Brandon Lake, a local Havertown boy who lost his fight against cancer, continues to bring our community closer for a cause that makes a difference in the lives of many.

Throughout the history of the Reindeer Romp, this event has raised over $300,000 each year. As a presenting sponsor of this event since 2000, Nolan Painting takes prides in supporting the American Cancer Society with 100% of the proceeds from this event.

Today, it’s safe to say that everyone knows someone that has been affected by cancer. By supporting the American Cancer Society, our community can join the fight against this disease by working harder each year to provide them with a donation that will continue their invaluable research.

So, lace up those racing shoes because December 14 is just around the corner. Not a fan of running? No problem! We’ve got a multitude of ways you can be part of the event. From marshals to help set up and clean up before and after the event or simply to make a donation, you too can be part of this celebration. The Reindeer Romp always sells out quickly so be sure to register online before December 14, 2014. No race day registration will be available.

We need your help to make the 17th annual Reindeer Romp the best one yet! Come down and join us on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 3 p.m. for the run; 3:05 p.m. for the walk. The race will take place in rain, shine or snow. It will not be canceled unless determined so by local authorities.

After the run, we invite you back the Nolan Painting offices for the award ceremony and a special after party where free food and drink will be provided. Let’s kick this holiday season off right with great friends, an inspiring community, and an unbelievable donation to a worthy cause. We’ll see you at the finish line!
