Kevin Nolan
President

Kevin Nolan started painting homes between classes at Villanova University. By the time he graduated in 1981, Nolan Painting had become a thriving Main Line business.

Still guiding and growing the business after more than 30 years, Kevin credits his success to loyal customers and employees, including his first hire, brother-in-law Jack McLaughlin, who is still with the company as a Senior Crew Leader. Family ties and trust are very important to Kevin. And over the years, several other members of Kevin’s immediate and extended family have lent their talents and skills as Nolan Painting employees. Kevin’s two sons and two daughters work for Nolan Painting during their school breaks.

Marathon Runner with a Quest
When he’s not running Nolan Painting, Kevin is often just running.
Most days, he can be spotted racing around the Main Line with his friends in the Bryn Mawr Running Club.
Kevin has run the Boston Marathon several times, and is 20 states into his quest to run a marathon in each state, hoping to see the country 26.2 miles at a time.

Fast-Paced Community Service
Giving back to the community is very important to Kevin. Nolan Painting sponsors more than 30 runs a year, raising considerable money for charities. As Race Director of the Haverford Twilight Run, the Main Line Run, and the Reindeer Romp, Kevin helps raise almost $100,000 for the causes these three races support.

In addition, Nolan Painting donates tens of thousands of dollars in sponsorship to community events each year. Click here to read more about Nolan Painting’s commitment to the community. Kevin’s company never turns down a reasonable request.

Business Leader
The success of Nolan Painting has made Kevin a national leader in his field. He founded the consulting company Summit Services, Inc. with this brother Brian Nolan. The company provides coaching to small business owners across the country. Kevin is very active providing content and coaching its clients. Kevin is also a leader in the community, serving as Vice Chair of the Board of the Main Line Chamber of Commerce. In 2012, he will begin a two-year term as Chair.

Steve Nafranowicz
Chief Financial Officer

Like many of his colleagues at Nolan Painting, Steve Nafranowicz started on the first rung and worked his way up.

When he began working at Nolan Painting as a Trainee in the summer of 1992, he knew nothing about painting. After learning the ropes for a few years as a Painter, Steve became a Crew Leader, taking pride and satisfaction in working on projects from start to finish, and transforming interiors and exteriors that were in bad shape into assets homeowners would enjoy and be proud of.

He then added working on the Advisory Board and Chairing the Training Committee to his duties.

Steve made his next big career move in 2000 when Kevin Nolan asked him to become an Estimator. About four years later he earned his current position, CFO, though he still has a hand in all aspects of the business.

Originally from Minneapolis, Steve is a husband, father of two sons and a Vikings fan. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, golfing and hiking with his wife Diane and Brittany Spaniel Roscoe. A cyclist, Steve has participated in the City to Shore MS 150.

Jon P. Meyer
Vice President of Sales

Jon P. Meyer knew all about paint before he began working for Nolan Painting in 1997 as an Estimator. He began painting homes during his summers off from college. Sherwin-Williams hired him right out of school as a management trainee and within a year he was running a store in New Jersey. Later, he moved to Philadelphia to work at Duron Paints & Wallcoverings. Through that job he met Kevin Nolan, which led to a job offer.

In 2005, Jon was promoted to his current position as Vice President of Sales. His favorite part of the job is talking to people about their projects and ideas, and then watching those projects come to fruition.

Jon is a member and past President of the Kiwanis Club of the Main Line, and is a member of the Haverford Education Board of Directors and the Radnor Run Race Committee.

Originally from Ohio, Jon now lives in Havertown with his wife and two children. When he’s not working, he enjoys trail running, biking and watching his kids’ sporting events.

Jim Falk
Estimator

Jim Falk started working at Nolan Painting in 2004. In addition to his estimation work, he develops proposals and is Chairman of the Nolan Painting Incentive Committee. Jim also is the current President of the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Painting and Decoration Contractors of America (PDCA).

Originally from Donegal in Ireland, Colin has lived in the U.S. since 1986.

Originally from Donegal, Ireland, Conal came to the U.S. in 1986, just a few months after fellow countryman Colin arrived. In fact, Conal and Colin have known each other since they were 15.

When Conal, a husband and father of two kids, has some spare time, he likes to go trout fishing and running.
