Nolan Painting Donates Sander and Career Advice to Students in Williamson College of the Trades’ paint and coatings Technology program now have an industry-standard, revolutionary Festool sander, thanks to Nolan Painting, of Havertown, who donated it. John Curran, paint instructor, said the sander is not only an excellent sander, but complements the students’ education because it is the sander used on the job by painting contractors. “We greatly thank Nolan Painting for this generous gift and for their on-going support of our program.”

In announcing the gift, Kevin Nolan, Nolan CEO, who believes sharing knowledge with Williamson students is in sync with the company’s forward-thinking mission, shared with the students his views on leadership, entrepreneurship, the traits of a good painter, and what he looks for in a painter. He also offered several students summer internships. Nolan said, “We have been painting homes for over 37 years and have seen many changes along the way. Keeping abreast of the latest techniques and equipment is integral to our success.
