Nolan’s Pledge to Give Back One Million Dollars to the Community
PHILADELPHIA, December 31, 2022 – In 2015, Nolan Painting made a 10-year pledge to donate $1,000,000 to support local organizations and events that improve the communities the company has served for over 40 years. The pledge is part of its community initiative program called Nolan in the Neighborhood. To date, Nolan in the Neighborhood has contributed $890,594 towards their goal!
The investment includes giving back to community-based organizations and nonprofits in the education field, environmental initiatives, health and fitness causes, and historical societies. “At Nolan Painting, we feel a strong connection to the community,” says Kevin Nolan, CEO and Founder of Nolan Painting. “With an unwavering commitment to the greater good, our community program focuses on supporting the neighborhoods in which we live and work. For over 40 years, we are proud to continue to be recognized as a great community partner.”
One of the largest community events that Nolan in the Neighborhood supports is Havertown’s annual Reindeer Romp, where 100% of the proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society. It is a 5k fun run/walk that brings the community together for a righteous cause — raising funds and awareness for the fight against cancer.
Since 2000, Nolan Painting has been the presenting sponsor of the race, and Kevin Nolan serves as the Race Director and Event Organizer and has helped raise over $500,000 for the American Cancer Society. This year, the race took place on Saturday, December 10th at Haverford High School and marked a record donation year for the Reindeer Romp — $34,200 was raised and donated to the American Cancer Society! Donations from the Reindeer Romp are also made possible by generous sponsors and participants and are in addition to Nolan in the Neighborhood’s other community contributions.
Since its founding in 1979, Nolan Painting has been an active community partner. Nolan in the Neighborhood has served to organize all of the company’s community efforts and showcases the tremendous impact that they have had throughout the Main Line and surrounding areas.
