Nolan Painting Volunteers at the Inaugural Delco 10 Miler

Supporting the First-Ever Delco 10 Miler
On Sunday September 28th Nolan Painting was proud to be part of the very first Delco 10 Miler, a new race that stretched from Rose Tree Park in Media, PA all the
way to the Subaru Stadium in Chester, PA.
The race would not have been possible without many dedicated volunteers, including 22 Nolan Painting team members who gave their time as:
- Course marshals
- SAG vehicle drivers
- Porta potty transport
- Race committee members
In addition to volunteering, several employees also ran the course, making it a special day for our company.
Kevin Nolan Volunteers as Race Director for the Delco 10 Miler
A very special thank you goes out to our founder, Kevin Nolan who volunteered countless hours as Race Director. Working closely with Visit Delco PA, Kevin helped ensure the race was safe, successful, and memorable. His commitment highlights Nolan Painting’s ongoing dedication to supporting local events that bring the community together.
A Commitment to Sustainability
Many of the causes we support focus on health, education, and environmental initiatives, so it was important to us to help reduce the footprint of a large event. For this race, Nolan Painting partnered with Mother Compost to ensure that the cups at the water stations could be composted. Our team went the extra step by helping to sift through the compost bags to make sure no trash ended up mixed in, ensuring a truly sustainable effort.
Supporting the Delaware County Community
The Delco 10 Miler was a celebration of Delaware County, which is home of Nolan Painting’s headquarters, and our involvement advances our Nolan in the Neighborhood mission of giving back where we live and work. The event brought visibility, energy, and excitement to several towns in the county. Nolan Painting is honored to have played an integral role in the success of the event, which included 1,200 runners and raised $21,000 to be split between three local organizations: HEADstrong Foundation, Delco Arts, and Delaware County Parks & Recreation.
