A Fresh Exterior for Via Bellissima in Bryn Mawr

Posted by Nolan Painting on November 14, 2025

A Bright New Look for a Bryn Mawr Favorite

We recently had the pleasure of working with Susan Arizini, owner of Via Bellissima in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Susan founded Via Bellissima in 1997 after discovering a passion for sourcing handcrafted pieces from artisans in the Tuscan and Umbrian regions of Italy. Every piece in the shop is hand-made and hand-painted, carrying traditions that date back to Medieval and Renaissance times.

Susan called our team to update the color scheme on the shop’s exterior. For this type of exterior refresh, proper preparation is essential. Our team thoroughly cleaned and restored the surfaces before applying a fresh finish, ensuring the paint could bond smoothly and last through the seasons. We also made an improvement to the flower box beneath the storefront window. Our carpentry team replaced a bottom board to provide a level, more refined finish.

Working with Susan was a true pleasure. She brings warmth, thoughtfulness, and a genuine appreciation for craft. At the end of the project, our team was touched when she gifted us a set of her shop’s beautifully hand-painted mugs.

“My experience with Nolan was incredible. Everyone on the crew was polite and very accommodating. I highly recommend Nolan Painting, from estimate to completion, for your next painting project.” Susan said. You can watch Susan share more about her experience here.

The storefront feels brighter, welcoming, and in harmony with the artistry waiting inside. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner on this project, enhancing the curb appeal of a small business that brings so much character and culture to the Bryn Mawr community.
