A Marathon In Each State: Kevin Nolan of Nolan Painting Hit His Goal
Kevin Nolan, President/Owner of Nolan Painting, is a real trail blazer in business and in life.
On October 9th, Kevin ran the Newport Rhode Island Marathon—making it the 50th state in which he has run a marathon. Since 2001 when the 50 State Marathon Club was created, only 1000 or so people in the entire United States have accomplished this feat. More than 70 of Kevin’s friends and family hopped a bus from the Nolan offices in Havertown to join him in Newport, cheered him on and celebrated with him at a post-event party.
Of course, in addition to Kevin’s running, he also runs a very successful business and supports local efforts, including many area running events, through the Nolan in the Neighborhood community initiative. In fact, he has committed to donating $1,000,000 to the community over the next ten years.
The Philadelphia Inquirer’s October 30th’s paper featured him on the front page of the Health section. And The Newport Daily News featured him in their local paper as well!
