Nolan Painting’s Community Work for Angel Flight East

Posted by Nolan Painting on September 6, 2017

In May, Nolan Painting’s Community program, Nolan in the Neighborhood, donated its time and labor (a value of $2,400) to refresh Blue Bell’s nonprofit Angel Flight East’s offices. Angel Flight East is a volunteer pilot driven organization dedicated to serving the community by facilitating free air transportation to children and adults in need of medical treatment far from home. Volunteer pilots use their own aircraft and take on all costs of the flight including fuel, landing fees, and other expenses.

Angel Flight East’s Executive Director Ellen Williams says how appreciative she is of Nolan’s contribution. “I cannot adequately express what a joy it is to walk through the door and see our fresh bright space. The best part is seeing the expressions on the faces of our volunteers when they see the new and improved office for the first time.”
