NOLAN IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD COMMUNITY INITIATIVE ON TRACK TO HIT ITS MILLION DOLLAR GOAL
PHILADELPHIA, November 19, 2021 – Kicking off in 2015, Nolan Painting made a 10-year pledge to donate $1,000,000 to support local organizations and events that improve the communities the company has served for over 40 years. To date, their Nolan in the Neighborhood initiative has contributed $770,168 towards their goal!
The investment includes giving back to community-based organizations and nonprofits in the education field, environmental initiatives, health and fitness causes, and historical societies. “Giving back to our community is who we are as a company,” said Nolan Painting’s CEO and Founder Kevin Nolan. “We make our community efforts a focus. It’s important to us that we contribute to positive change in the neighborhoods that support us.”
One of the largest community events that Nolan in the Neighborhood supports is Havertown’s annual Reindeer Romp where 100% of the proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society. Since 2000, Nolan Painting has been the presenting sponsor of the race and Kevin Nolan serves as the Race Director and Event Organizer and has helped raise over $450,000 for the American Cancer Society. This year, the race is set to take place on Saturday, December 11 at Haverford High School.
Since its founding in 1979, Nolan Painting has been an active community partner. Nolan in the Neighborhood has served to organize all of the company’s community efforts and showcases the tremendous impact that they have had throughout the Main Line and surrounding areas.
